27-day aurora forecast based on data from SWPC

The geomagnetic activity forecast is updated from an earlier expected Kp4 to Kp5 on March 15. It's good news. Get your cameras ready.

The moon is getting dimmer and rises later, almost in the morning. It will not illuminate the landscape, but the sky will be darker. It helps to shoot the aurora on the horizon from lower latitudes.

The end of the month looks even more promising than was forecasted a week ago. Hopefully, the beautiful aurora will please us soon.
